Crawling

Yesterday was an exciting day at the Harrington household, for various reasons, but for Aurora it marked the day she began to crawl.

She has been on the verge of crawling for about two weeks now, but she couldn't get her legs to work together. One either went to far, or she went up on one foot and a knee, or she tried to move them at the same time. But at last, and with proper motivation, she made it!

As you can see, she is not motivated by mom, dad, toys or food, but rather Twizzle and her toys will grab and maintain her attention. Look out Twizzle, you're in trouble now! We are too, of course. Now the baby-proofing  gets put to the test. :)

Baby VS Blizzard

We thought it would be good to make a note about our her first blizzard experience. We did alright, lost power for a while, and it was a cold night, but with extra layers, candles, and cuddling we did alright. I'm sure Aurora had no idea either way.

We spent the day napping, snacking, and playing.
